Rangers, which include the Ranger 1,1100ws RX, Ranger RX Speed AS and 400ws Quadra RX flash systems, allow studio lighting to be taken anywhere, whether or not there is electricity available. Battery pack systems include a battery pack with control module and separate flash heads. Ranger RX packs were built to be durable and water resistant. Ranger Quadra's are built to be compact, lightweight and the ultimate mobile pack system. On the whole, Ranger packs seem to weight less then most of the competition, yet provide the same consistent and accurate performance for which Elinchrom is known. Rangers RX's are compatible with Elinchrom's Skyport wireless flash system and Ranger Quadra's have a built-in Skyport which allows the user to wirelessly fire, control the power and drive their strobes from a computer. No wires means less studio clutter and less chance of accidents.
